FLESH AND FEATHERS
THE FLESH SERIES ~ BOOK ONE
BY APRIL FIFER & DANIELLE HYLTON-OUTLAND
Azaleigh's life is simple until, by chance, she meets
Kale. Charming and handsome, Az is immediately drawn to him. But long kept
secrets lurk in the hearts of those Az holds most dear, and dangerous plans are
unfolding around her. As her life begins to crumble and Kale disappears, Gage,
charismatic and striking, arrives, providing a calm port in an increasingly
violent storm. But with every narrow escape from a far from human bounty hunter
who's after her life, Az begins to unravel a secret with the power to change
her forever. In an increasingly hostile world of Angel and Fallen, Azaleigh
must navigate her own path, chose her own side, and ultimately protect her
heart. Faced with two gorgeous men, an enemy she doesn’t know, and a future she
cannot understand, Az must make a choice—the man she loves, or the man she
cannot live without.
Danielle Hylton-Outland was raised in Virginia. She grew up having a huge appetite for daydreaming; always wanting to live in the spectacular worlds she created in her mind. She now lives with her husband and dog where she is pursuing a degree in literature. Danielle is a strong animal activist. She is currently co-writing the second book in the Flesh Series, "Flesh and Flames".
April Fifer grew up in a small town in Virginia, where it was common practice believing that dreams could only be found in stories. At the age of seven she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She was told that she would struggle through life and would never pick up a book to read for pleasure. Although school was hard, she was able to find her way with the help of two teachers who taught her self-discovery. Ignoring what she was taught growing up, she turned it around and found that your dreams could become stories.

Yes, I have about 200 books at home I haven't read. I keep making rules that I must read one from those boxes every week, but I get so many great books from the library that I feel I have to save the ones I have at home. (Sometimes I accidentally check out books I already have because I've forgotten I have them.)

I have made those rules as well, then break them. My book collection is a little out of hand. I am thinking old habits die hard.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having us on your blog today! This is gonna be so much fun.

LOL... you hit it perfectly! I'm a certified book hoarder. I have overflowing bookshelves and my Kindle is probably twice as bad b/c it's much easier to hoard electronically. I know that I will read it all "eventually" and that's the excuse I use to continue buying :) My BF is so good, he just takes it all in stride and just builds me more bookcases.
ReplyDeleteyes its a addiction have 4 stacks to read and 100s of books on kindle & nook. read at least a book a day
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a book hoarder! Books I've read, books I will read, books I may never read but won't admit it to anyone else, books for looks, just books books books! And don't even get me started on ebooks - haven't met many free ebooks I haven't downloaded - and my bank account is still hurting over some recent shopping sprees.
ReplyDeleteYes I love to read and have two big bookcases full of books! I also have about 300 ebooks too. I still have so many I have too read but so many great ones coming out I want too read :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the great giveaway!
ABSOLUTELY. I do indeed hoard books. It's rather wonderful actually. I'd love a proper library to keep them in.
ReplyDeleteMy TBR list grows by the day, I believe it is at 100 or so at the moment ... I think we all need help! :-)
ReplyDeleteOK, well here's the thing. I only horde books I haven't read. But, I like to give them away once I have read them. Only problem is I can't read as fast as I want to. But, I do keep all the books by the authors that I LOVE. =)
ReplyDeleteSo yes and no.

I am such a book hoarder! I have about 500 books on my to buy list and 30 on my current to read list. I will probably never read all of these since I don't have the money, but I am hoping to get a kindle sometime soon so I hope to start using the lending library!
