- Make a separate post for the 18 & Over Book Blogger Follow on your blog.
- Copy the html for the button on either host's site and place it at the top of your post.
- List & answer the ‘Question of the Week.’
Head on over to Reading Between the Wines or Secrets of a Book Lover for the rest of the details!
Question of the week:
"Reviews; do you write them as soon as you finish a book or not?"
"Reviews; do you write them as soon as you finish a book or not?"
I usually try to write my reviews within two days of reading a book. I like to take a little time, put all my thoughts together and get to it. This doesn't always work out for me. I've been on a reading roll recently and currently have about four reviews to write (had to make a note of them)!
Yeah, I've been a bad girl lately but I usually don't do this I swear! ;) I really try to put all my effort into a review, which can sometimes make the process a little longer when you're blogging and reading. I'm just thankful that I tend to remember the plots after a few days. Once in a while I'll read a book that really captivates me and that I feel I have to share with everyone, that's when I write my review instantly after reading. I guess there's a method to my madness for reviewing that seems to work for me, so why mess with it, right? OK, that's enough talking...I have reviews to write people!
What's your review writing method?
A day or two is about my pace as well. I find I can't be fair and open-minded if I write the review right away. I find I'm either on a giddy high and just end up gushing, or I'm at a bitchy low and really let the book have it. LOL

If I have been given a book for review from an author, especially if that book is an ARC. I will review it as soon as I've had the chance to read it. Otherwise, it takes me a while to get round to it. lol
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't write reviews so that would be a huge No! lmao... But to be honest if I did I doubt I would write them straight away.
ReplyDeleteOnce I get into a book series I need to devour every damn book before taking a breather. And by the time all the books would be finished I'd have probably forgotten what to write in a review.
New Follower BTW!!
