This Friday's Question:
Writing Negative Reviews: Are you guilty of it?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guilty! While I tend to read books recommended by friends who have similar tastes in books or from genres I love, there's always a dud every once in a while. I wouldn't really say my reviews are negative, honest is more like it. I'm not a fan of people bashing an author's work and stay clear of that road, even if the book failed to inspire or impress me I'll tell you what I didn't like about the book and let you decide if it's for you. If I read something that I completely hate (which rarely happens), I try to write a review that is honest but not completely negative, there's always something positive to find, even in a "bad" book!

Now about the Negative reviews thing.
I totally agree with you. Being mean for the sake of being mean is not my thing. But I'll always be honest =D
