TGIF {1}

Who's ready for the weekend?!  I know I am!  I'm introducing a new feature for Fridays to re-cap the week's posts & to propose a question for my followers.  Feel free to get involved by linking up at the bottom. If not, leave your answers in the comments below. Thanks! (Hosted weekly by Ginger @ GReads)

This week's question:
Are you an organized reader? Or do you just pick up whatever book sparks your interest at that moment?
I try to be an organized reader but it never really works out for me! I find that when I try to follow a list of books to read I lose interest and end up reading less. I usually just go with my mood and what books I have on hand. If I start a series I really enjoy I will most likely read them continuously and then start something new (prime example: the Black Dagger Brotherhood...I loved the books so much I had to read them back to back!). I feel making a list becomes more of "homework" and takes the fun out of reading.

How do you read your books? Do you plan ahead or tend to be spontaneous with your selections?
Feel free to leave a comment!

  1. Hey thanks for joining TGIF this week :-) I agree that making reading lists takes the fun out of it. Some times I'll finish a really heavy book & need something light after wards. I just finished a really amazing series (The Summer I Turned Pretty) & I feel sorry for whatever book I read next lol. It will definitely be a rebound book! Ha!

  2. Hey, saw you were knew in BBA so I thought I'd stop by your blog and follow you!

    At the moment I am reading about five books. 2 ebooks and 3 paperbacks. Sometimes I will start a book then all of a sudden feel like something else so I will switch the another. It's mostly when I am waiting for books in my favourite series to be released. :)
    Great blog too.
