My Teasers:

"I don't sleep in a casket. Yes, of course, I have several of them. I even collect them. They do appeal to the dark side of all of us. As a matter of fact, I have an extravagant specimen that temporarily housed the remains of a very well-known 20th century entertainer, before he was evicted so that I could add it to my collection. Don't even ask, because I won't tell you who it is, but I doubt if he's lonesome tonight. Anyway, as long as I'm out of the sunlight, I require no additional containment."
Diary of a Narcissistic Bloodsucker by Lynda Hilburn

"Paranorms tend to stick within their own races. It's always been that way and no one seems inclined or cares to change it. I wondered what it would be like if the New York City paranorms were one big melting pot like norms were in that city. But I had a hard time seeing it. Some beings from different paranorm races intermingled with everyone, like me. But most...
Nope. Couldn't see it happening."

Thanks for commenting on my TT! If you're starting to see Demonglass everywhere and think it's up your alley, then it's a sign! Though you should definitely read Hex Hall first or Demonglass won't make as much sense.
ReplyDeleteYour teasers really give me a feel for these books and the author's writing style. It's good to have chunks to see more of where they're going! I haven't heard of Cheyenne McCray or Lynda Hilburn before.
